I don’t know about you, but I’m in major planning mode over here. This year I’ve decided to adapt the crate system for this year’s curriculum organization. I’ve fallen in love with Kristie’s techniques and strategies. You should totally check out her blog.
But wait, you said you were going to be giving away books, not talking about homeschool organization.
Yes, yes, I know. Sorry, back to the books!
So, each year during the summer months I spend a little extra time on myself and get some homeschool mama encouragement. My favorite three sources for this are Teaching from Rest: A Homeschooler’s Guide to Unshakable Peace by Sarah Mackenzie, For the Children’s Sake: Foundations of Education for Home and School by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, and Educating the WholeHearted Child by Clay and Sally Clarkson.
*The books in the picture are my own well-loved books, the winners will be receiving brand new books. 😉 *
If I could only own three books to guide my homeschooling years, it would be these three. Hands down. I wish I could give you all a copy of each of them, but I think my hubby might get a bit upset if did that.
